The Chainlink BUILD program is designed to strengthen the Chainlink Network by fostering promising early-stage startups in Chainlink’s ecosystem. Participants receive benefits such as priority access to technical support and new services from Chainlink in exchange for paying fees that incentivize Chainlink service providers and boost the network’s cryptoeconomic security.
One of the latest projects to join BUILD is DLT Payments, which launched the beta of its non-custodial web3 payment platform, DLTPAY, in May. In an official announcement, DLT’s team outlined plans to accelerate its ecosystem’s growth by integrating Chainlink Price Feeds to power secure stablecoin payments and Chainlink Automation to enable recurring payments.
DLT co-founders Kenneth Kumor and Michal Vranec created the platform to give global small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) the ability to send and receive payments across a growing spectrum of digital currencies. Kumor and Vranec view “inclusivity” as the key to success in an evolving digital economy, where businesses can gain a competitive edge by letting their customers choose how they want to pay.
Built on top of the EVM layer-2 ecosystem, DLTPAY offers a suite of enterprise tools including recurring stablecoin payments for SaaS companies, on-chain invoices, wallet interface swaps, and DeFi data tools for accountants. Businesses can use the platform to accept near-instant payments in over 1,000 digital currencies, which are converted to stablecoins in order to minimize volatility.
As a longtime “active participant and believer in Chainlink,” DLT’s team said BUILD presents an opportunity to strengthen DLTPAY through Chainlink’s essential infrastructure while amplifying DLT’s reach among thousands of dApps in Chainlink’s expansive ecosystem.
“We’re thrilled to join Chainlink BUILD to gain access to industry-leading Web3 services, technical support, and a robust cryptoeconomic model that empowers us to build stablecoin payments systems with greater security assurances,” said Kumor in an official announcement.
“We look forward to continuing our collaboration together and we welcome the passionate Chainlink community into the DLT Payments ecosystem.”
