Space And Time Virtual Vaults Adopt Chainlink Privacy Standard

Space and Time, a decentralized data warehouse for web3, has adopted Chainlink’s privacy standard for its Virtual Vaults – custom onchain credit vaults where the collateral backing a loan is cryptographically proven.

Virtual Vaults are leveraging Chainlink Confidential HTTP, a developer tool that allows decentralized workflows to securely call external, password-protected, or private APIs without exposing sensitive data or credentials to individual oracle nodes, lenders, or Space and Time itself.

Lenders can now verify collateral held on private venues including exchange accounts, prime brokers, and internal systems, without the borrower’s identity or raw positions ever being exposed.

This integration is the latest evolution of Space and Time’s long-standing work with Chainlink.

In 2022, Space and Time was one of the first projects to join the Chainlink Build program. SXT Chain, a blockchain for ZK-proven data, has leveraged Chainlink to deliver ZK-proven queries directly to smart contracts since its 2024 testnet launch. In 2025, the native SXT token adopted Chainlink’s data and interoperability standards to support secure markets throughout DeFi.

Space and Time co-founder Nate Holiday has been outspoken about Chainlink’s vital role in Space and Time’s novel Proof of SQL model, which provides zero-knowledge cryptographic proof that a database query ran correctly and the underlying data was not altered or tampered with. This capacity becomes ever more critical as AI systems proliferate.

In a 2023 SmartCon interview, Holiday told Jill Malandrino, “You need a decentralized network to actually verify that the proofs haven’t been tampered with. Our ability to do that through Chainlink is very, very important.”

In a recent post on X, Holiday highlighted the significance of powering Virtual Vaults with Chainlink’s industry-standard decentralized oracle network, writing, “Privacy and decentralization are required in our AI world as finance continues to move onchain.”
