SmartCon 2023 featured more than 100 blockchain experts and financial industry leaders including founders of influential protocols in the Chainlink ecosystem. To get a closer look at the future of web3, Nasdaq TradeTalks host Jill Malandrino filmed a two-day interview lineup with speakers at this year’s event in Barcelona, Spain.
Andras Kristos is the founder and CEO of Galaxis, a web3 community builder and management framework that has helped launch high-profile Chainlink-powered web3 projects like Val Kilmer’s GOD Panel NFTs. Kristos sat down with Malandrino to talk about how web3 infrastructure can empower artists and creatives to launch autonomous, enduring, self-sustaining communities.
“Galaxis is a platform where you can build your unstoppable community,” Kristos said. “You can create your community; you can take it with you; and once you build it, nobody can take it from you, not even Galaxis.”
As a member of Chainlink BUILD, Galaxis continues to deepen its integration of Chainlink’s web3 infrastructure such as Chainlink VRF, which facilitates provably fair NFT reveals, lucky draws, random utility distribution, and giveaway cards within the Galaxis ecosystem. In August, the platform announced it’s integrating CCIP on Ethereum and Polygon to create cross-chain digital membership cards that unlock token-gated community spaces throughout web3.
During SmartCon, Galaxis announced the public launch of its Chainlink-powered decentralized platform for designing “post-hype” dynamic NFTs that uplift communities with a number of monetization and engagement utilities. Kristos told Malandrino he believes the platform has the potential to extend web3’s reach to virtually “any creative people or entity.”
“This is one of the biggest missing parts of the internet as we know it – that it is almost impossible for a creative person or creator to monetize their own creativity without a large third party,” he explained. “If we apply web3 in the right way, we can actually make it possible for them to reach out to their community, give them real value, and enable their community to give value back to them directly without involving anybody else.”
