Programmable open financial layer-1 Pharos announced the formation of RealFi Alliance: a strategic ecosystem initiative to advance tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) by unifying institutional asset issuers, financial infrastructure providers, and onchain builders within a standardized, scalable, operational execution framework. Inaugural alliance members include Chainlink, Asseto Finance, Ember, Faroo, LayerZero, R25, Re7 Labs, TopNod, and Centrifuge.
Pharos was founded by former AntChain and Ant Financial blockchain leaders to deliver enterprise-grade solutions for institutions exploring green finance, digital payments, programmable ownership, and asset tokenization, with the goal of building a new financial-grade infrastructure for global finance.
Last year, Pharos integrated Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) as its canonical cross-chain infrastructure and Chainlink Data Streams, which Pharos co-founder and CEO, Wish Wu, underscored as essential tokenization infrastructure for supporting secure, interoperable, high-performance RWA markets with ultra-fast and accurate price data.
The RealFi Alliance was created to solve systemic frictions including fragmented liquidity, inconsistent infrastructure standards, and regulatory silos by coordinating assets and capital under a shared framework on Pharos. The goal is to bring real-world value onchain via composable, future-proof tokenized assets that meet the highest institutional security standards.
“The core challenge facing onchain finance today is not a lack of assets, but the absence of a unified environment where those assets can function at scale,” said Wu in an official announcement.
