Decentralized cloud computing network Aethir announced today that industry-standard oracle network Chainlink has joined the AI Unbundled Alliance, an industry-wide initiative for advancing web3 AI infrastructure. Chainlink’s battle-tested oracle network will unlock advanced AI-powered web3 applications throughout the alliance ecosystem while Chainlink Labs will sponsor hackathon bounties and provide grants to eligible participants on a case-by-case basis.
Aethir established the AI Unbundled Alliance as a one-stop shop providing comprehensive resources such as GPU compute, data processing, and blockchain oracles to developers building innovative AI solutions. Alongside premium, enterprise-grade infrastructure, the alliance’s 21 partners contribute industry-leading expertise through high-profile events, conferences, and co-marketing support to AI builders.
Chainlink’s hyper-reliable oracle infrastructure has facilitated over $25 trillion in transaction value and secures nearly $100 billion throughout DeFi. The Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) streamlines access to Chainlink’s essential web3 services, providing a decentralized execution layer for building and running verifiable workflows across any chain or system.
Chainlink is opening prioritized early access to CRE for AI Unbundled Alliance builders, as well as supporting an ATH/USD Price Feed and an ATH/USD Data Stream for Aethir’s native utility and governance token, ATH, which provides GPU resources for AI and gaming.
In an official announcement, Chainlink Labs’ Strategic Innovations Lead, Ash Nathan, highlighted CRE’s solution to the fragmented tooling, siloed execution environments, and insufficient verifiability that inhibit web3 AI developers.
