Swell Network Joins Chainlink BUILD To Support Decentralized Liquid Staking Ecosystem

The Chainlink BUILD program fosters promising early-stage startups in Chainlink’s ecosystem. Participants receive enhanced access to essential Chainlink infrastructure and technical support in exchange for paying fees that incentivize Chainlink service providers, boosting the network’s cryptoeconomic security and advancing the web3 industry as a whole.

Recently, Swell Network, a non-custodial Ethereum liquid staking protocol with $700 million TVL (total value locked), announced it’s joining BUILD to accelerate awareness of Swell and the adoption of liquid staking and restaking throughout DeFi.

The Swell protocol is designed to make it simple for users to stake ETH and access DeFi strategies alongside community initiatives and gamification opportunities in one place, with the broader goal of supporting a liquid staking ecosystem that upholds Ethereum’s core principles of decentralization and censorship resistance.

As a member of BUILD, Swell aims to integrate vital Chainlink infrastructure such as Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) for secure cross-chain transfers, Proof of Reserve (PoR) for verifying cross-chain reserves, Automation for triggering smart contracts, Price Feeds for reliable market data, and Functions for offchain data and custom compute, while receiving priority access to new Chainlink product alpha and beta releases.

Chainlink’s time-tested oracle network has delivered over 11.5 billion data points and enabled more than $9.7 trillion in transaction value onchain. As the industry-leading decentralized computing platform, Chainlink plays a fundamental role in powering highly secure and performant decentralized protocols, applications, and exchanges that expand DeFi’s utility and global user base.

“We’re excited to join the Chainlink BUILD program as the Chainlink Network’s industry-standard services are essential to helping Swell support the adoption of liquid staking in DeFi,” said Swell Founder Daniel Dizon in an official statement. “We look forward to continuing our collaboration together and we welcome the passionate Chainlink community into the Swell Network ecosystem.”
