MegaETH Joins Chainlink Scale, Adopts Chainlink Data And Interoperability Standard

The Chainlink Scale program is designed to accelerate the growth of layer-1 and layer-2 ecosystems by giving developers enhanced access to Chainlink’s industry-leading web3 services.

This week, MegaETH, the first real-time blockchain, announced it joined Scale and integrated Chainlink Data Feeds, Data Streams, and Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), giving MegaETH users immediate access to top DeFi protocols such as Aave, GMX, Avon, and HelloTrade, as well as nearly $14 billion in assets including Lido’s wstETH and Lombard’s BTC.b and LBTC.

Secured by Ethereum and powered by a hyper-optimized execution environment with a heterogeneous architecture, MegaETH is designed to achieve web2-level performance by delivering streaming throughput with 10 millisecond block times and up to 100,000 transactions per second.

MegaETH’s novel Chainlink integration lays the foundation for real-time DeFi by delivering Chainlink’s highly accurate market data at sub-second latency through a native precompile to MegaETH’s execution environment.

Chainlink Data Feeds have reliably enabled over $28 trillion in transaction value, while Data Streams’ pull-based oracle solution powers advanced DeFi products such as lending protocols, derivatives markets, and decentralized exchanges that require lower gas fees and faster price updates.

CCIP leverages the same battle-tested Chainlink oracles to achieve the highest level of cross-chain security backed by a separate Risk Management Network that independently monitors for suspicious activity. CCIP allows asset issuers such as Lombard and Lido to access cross-chain liquidity between MegaETH and other ecosystems, enabling composable cross-chain applications that broaden DeFi’s reach.

“Joining Chainlink Scale ensures that our developers have access to high-quality data and secure interoperability that they need to build scalable, high-performance apps on MegaETH from day one,” said Lei Yang, co-founder and CTO of MegaETH, in an official announcement.

“Chainlink is critical to our goal of being the leading blockchain platform, as well as ensuring our ecosystem is powered by one of the most important standards in the industry.”

“Chainlink’s oracle and interoperability standards have been foundational to Aave’s growth across multiple ecosystems, and their integration on MegaETH will enable a seamless extension of Aave onto MegaETH’s next-generation blockchain platform,” said Aave Labs’ founder, Stani Kulechov.

“MegaETH joining Chainlink Scale and adopting the Chainlink data and interoperability standards is a major moment for our ecosystem,” said Chainlink Labs’ Chief Business Officer, Johann Eid.

“This is how DeFi scales.”
