Huma Finance announced it has selected Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) as the exclusive bridging solution for its core yield product, PST, and all future yield products. In light of recent cross-chain hacks, Huma has chosen CCIP over LayerZero and other bridges, because Chainlink provides the industry’s highest level of cross-chain security.
Huma is the first PayFi network – a blockchain-based system that enables instant, low-cost global settlements by combining payment processing with DeFi and tokenized real-world assets (RWAs). With more than $12 billion in cumulative onchain transaction volume and over $170 million in active liquidity, Huma prioritizes a secure foundation for scaling real-world payment financing onchain.
Chainlink’s highly resilient oracle infrastructure has facilitated over $30 trillion in transaction value and has the unique ability to withstand unpredictabilities like 2025’s 15-hour AWS outage, which disrupted thousands of companies, services, and banking portals. CCIP maintains the highest level of cross-chain security, backed by a separate Risk Management Network, and is the only interoperability solution that meets three key institutional security standards: SOC 2 Type 1, SOC 2 Type 2, and ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
PST is Huma’s yield-bearing liquid LP token, which represents ownership in a pool backed by RWAs such as invoice financing and cross-border payments. By adopting CCIP to bridge PST and future Solana-based yield assets into the multi-chain economy, Huma ensures every cross-chain bridge lane is secured by at least 16 high-quality, security-reviewed, independent node operators.
Huma is also leveraging Chainlink’s data standard via Chainlink Data Feeds and Data Streams to unlock secure and reliable cross-chain markets for PST.
“By adopting the Chainlink standard for data and interoperability, Huma unlocks secure expansion beyond Solana across the multi-chain ecosystem and powers its over 100K institutional-grade yield products with accurate, high-speed market data,” said Chainlink Labs’ Chief Business Officer, Johann Eid, who recently appeared on The Rollup to explain how Chainlink’s node architecture and economic incentives ensure security by default.
“By adopting Chainlink CCIP as our exclusive bridging infrastructure for our core yield product and future yield products and leveraging the Chainlink data standard, Huma is securing PST and all future yield products with the most reliable infrastructure in the industry,” said Huma Finance’s co-founder and CEO, Richard Liu.
“Chainlink gives our users and partners the security to leverage institutional-grade real-world yield at scale.”
