Chainlink Receives Multiple Nominations For Global Custodian’s Leaders In Custody Awards

Global Custodian, the leading international securities services magazine, recently announced the shortlists for its annual Leaders in Custody awards, to be held at The Savoy in London on May 14, 2026. Chainlink, the industry-leading oracle platform, received nominations for Asset Servicing Partnership of the Year, Fintech of the Year, and Asset Servicing Project – One to Watch.

Leaders In Custody celebrates milestones within the global securities services industry, awarding trailblazing global custodians, sub-custodians, technology providers, and market infrastructure providers across dozens of categories.

Chainlink’s oracle infrastructure secures the vast majority of onchain finance and has facilitated over $28 trillion in transaction value. Over the past year, Chainlink has collaborated with dozens of major financial institutions and the United States Department of Commerce on critical use cases from standardizing corporate actions data to delivering U.S. government macroeconomic data onchain.

In addition to nominations for Fintech of the Year and Asset Servicing Project – One to Watch, Chainlink received a nomination for Asset Servicing Partnership of the Year for its ongoing work with Swift, the world’s largest provider of secure financial messaging services.

In 2024, Swift, Chainlink, and UBS Asset Management completed an innovative pilot for settling tokenized fund subscriptions and redemptions with fiat payment systems across more than 11,500 financial institutions in 200 countries. This model evolved in 2025 by using the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) as well as Chainlink’s Digital Transfer Agent (DTA) technical standard.

Swift’s latest interoperability breakthrough builds on its work with Chainlink and UBS to demonstrate how tokenized asset transactions can be orchestrated as a single, coordinated process across blockchain platforms and traditional systems. Establishing how tokenized bonds can leverage existing infrastructure while shielding institutions from blockchain complexity will ultimately accelerate institutional digital asset adoption.
