Chainlink Announces 100+ Speakers Ahead Of SmartCon 2023

Chainlink’s SmartCon – the world’s premier web3 conference featuring leading blockchain researchers, academics, and founders – will take place October 2-3 in Barcelona, Spain. This week, Chainlink announced more than 100 expert speakers who will present their influential thought leadership at this year’s event, with even more names to follow.

Among esteemed presenters is former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, who scaled Google’s growth, including a $23 billion IPO, from 2001 to 2011 before becoming a strategic advisor at Chainlink Labs. Former Coinbase CTO Balaji Srinivasan, whose presentations on an oracle-enabled ledger of record and network state have made him a SmartCon favorite, will also return this year.

On the heels of Chainlink CCIP’s mainnet launch, as well as Swift’s collaboration with more than a dozen top financial institutions to transact with the multi-chain economy through CCIP, Swift’s Director of Capital Markets and Digital Assets, Qian Jiang, and Tokenized Assets Product Lead, Thomas Dugauquier, are among the flagship event’s most anticipated speakers.

In addition to renowned voices from Chainlink Labs, including former Diem CTO Dahlia Malkhi, Cornell Tech professor Ari Juels, and former TensorFlow product lead Kemal El Moujahid, SmartCon 2023 will also feature founders and CEOs from some of the 1,800+ projects in the Chainlink Ecosystem that are pioneering new frontiers across industries from DeFi to decentralized insurance, blockchain gaming, and dynamic NFTs.

Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov will also headline at SmartCon 2023. Nazarov, who inspired developers to start building with CCIP at EthCC last month, is expected to further illustrate his vision for how CCIP could enable the convergence of TradFi and DeFi into a more secure and efficient global cross-chain market.
