The Chainlink BUILD program fosters promising early-stage startups in Chainlink’s ecosystem. Participants receive enhanced access to essential Chainlink infrastructure and technical support in exchange for paying fees that incentivize Chainlink service providers, boosting the network’s cryptoeconomic security and advancing the web3 industry as a whole.
Today, TokenShield, an innovative security protocol for protecting retail users’ digital assets, announced it’s joining BUILD to accelerate its ecosystem’s long-term growth. As a BUILD member, TokenShield will integrate vital Chainlink services such as Price Feeds and Automation with priority access to new Chainlink product alpha and beta releases. In return, TokenShield will contribute 5% of its native token supply to Chainlink service providers over time.
TokenShield’s security overlay is designed to integrate with the tools users already know and trust. Its proprietary Vaults are smart contract accounts that utilize the Account Abstraction and Token Bound Account standards to create a cold wallet within a user’s hot wallet. The self-custodial solution shields digital assets from a host of evolving risks such as phishing, malware, and private key compromises using layered defense tools including multi-factor authentication and Vault recovery.
TokenShield is currently preparing to launch in private beta, with plans to release a public version tailored to user insights and feedback. Through BUILD, TokenShield is well-positioned to accelerate adoption of its security solution through Chainlink’s vast ecosystem of more than 1,800 web3 projects.
“We’re thrilled to join Chainlink BUILD to gain access to industry-standard Web3 services, technical support, and a robust crypto-economic model that empowers us to build a digital asset security solution,” said TokenShield co-founder, Andrej Babamov. “Chainlink is well-known for its time-tested security and reliability, and through the integration of its industry-leading services, TokenShield can redefine and elevate the digital asset security in the Web3 space.”
