SOFA.org Onchain Asset Settlement Framework Now Powered By Chainlink Functions And Automation

Today, SOFA.org, a nonprofit DAO developing an onchain asset settlement framework, announced its integration of Chainlink Functions and Chainlink Automation on Arbitrum mainnet to advance its goal of building more resilient financial infrastructure.

SOFA.org offers a secure, transparent, efficient solution for decentralized clearing that transforms counterparty settlement risks into EVM-based blockchain vaults, records all key instrument details onchain via smart contracts, and creates transferable position tokens as collateral claims.

In June, SOFA.org joined the Chainlink Build program to facilitate its long-term growth and adoption through enhanced access to Chainlink’s oracle services, which have securely and reliably enabled over $14 trillion in transaction value. The platform is utilizing Automation to trigger key smart contract capabilities and Functions to retrieve data from APIs and perform custom computations directly within smart contracts, ensuring onchain financial parameters are accurate and updated in real time.

“We are excited to integrate Chainlink Automation and Functions into SOFA.org’s asset settlement framework,” said SOFA.org co-founder Augustine Fan in an official announcement. “These industry-standard services provide the critical infrastructure we need to help ensure our protocol operates with the highest levels of reliability and efficiency. This Chainlink integration marks a significant step forward in our mission to build a robust, decentralized financial ecosystem that prioritizes transparency, security, and long-term stability.”
