Dolomite Expands Cross-Chain Capabilities With Chainlink CCIP

Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) is the industry standard for digital asset and data transfer used by leading blockchains, layer-2s, DeFi protocols, and traditional financial institutions to unlock new use cases and markets for crypto, stablecoins, and tokenized assets

Today, Dolomite, a margin protocol and DEX with over $1 billion in TVL, announced it integrated CCIP to power seamless cross-chain transfers between Berachain, Ethereum, and Arbitrum while upholding the highest standards of user safety and protocol integrity.

Dolomite, which also uses Chainlink Price Feeds and Automation, was one of the first ten projects to be accepted into the Chainlink Build program back in 2022. Dolomite co-founder Corey Caplan has since attributed DeFi’s successful evolution to Chainlink’s essential infrastructure.

Leveraging Chainlink’s battle-tested decentralized oracle network, which has enabled over $20 trillion in transaction value across 20+ blockchains, CCIP achieves the highest level of cross-chain security and features a separate Risk Management Network that independently monitors for suspicious activity. The latest CCIP v1.5 upgrade allows developers on supported blockchains to turn any ERC-20-compatible token into a Cross-Chain Token.

“Integrating Chainlink CCIP gives us the infrastructure we need to bring Dolomite’s functionality to new chains in a secure and reliable way,” said Caplan in an official announcement. “This is a foundational step in continuing to expand Dolomite’s capabilities while keeping security at the core of every decision we make.”
