The Chainlink BUILD program fosters promising early-stage startups and established projects in Chainlink’s ecosystem. Participants receive benefits including enhanced access to essential Chainlink infrastructure, new product alpha and beta releases, and technical support, in exchange for paying fees that incentivize Chainlink service providers, boost the network’s cryptoeconomic security, and advance the web3 industry as a whole.
This week, SphereX, an innovative, user-friendly, chain-agnostic decentralized exchange (DEX), announced it’s joining BUILD to accelerate its ecosystem’s growth and increase DeFi’s accessibility through Chainlink’s industry-leading oracle services.
SphereX aims to bridge the gap between DeFi and TradFi by rivaling the user experience of centralized exchanges while retaining the transparency and user control of decentralization. Last month, SphereX launched its testnet leveraging zk-rollup technology to boost transaction security and reliability, onchain KYC to enhance ecosystem transparency and user authenticity, and a DAO-based governance model that incentivizes token holders and enriches the trading ecosystem.
Chainlink’s decentralized oracle infrastructure has enabled over $12 trillion in transaction value throughout the web3 economy. As the industry-standard decentralized computing platform, Chainlink provides a comprehensive set of services that are critical for creating and securing tokenized real-world assets and stablecoins capable of scaling onchain finance to billions of global users.
As a member of BUILD, SphereX plans to integrate Chainlink Price Feeds to help secure perpetual markets as well as Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) to facilitate cross-chain transfers underpinned by the highest level of cross-chain security.
“We’re excited to join Chainlink BUILD to leverage Chainlink’s battle-test decentralized oracle infrastructure, enhancing the operational efficiency and security of our platform,” said SphereX CEO Kai in an official announcement. “With Chainlink services helping power our DEX, we will redefine how users interact with DeFi.”
