Among 67 projects to announce new Chainlink integrations in February is AEX Exchange. As one of the earliest digital asset exchanges, dating back to 2013, AEX will now utilize Chainlink Price Feeds to ensure accurate pricing for a variety of fiat and crypto assets in financial products such as its over-the-counter (OTC) markets.
Chainlink’s oracle infrastructure has enabled the rapid growth – and now secures the vast majority – of the decentralized finance (DeFi) industry. Having consistently pursued innovation in the digital asset/DeFi realm over the past nine years, AEX’s team told Chainlink Today that integrating Chainlink oracles is an extension of their effort to expand DeFi’s user base by providing access to secure and precise financial services.
“With Chainlink Price Feeds, AEX can correctly estimate asset value and assist the price list in OTC and other financial products for serving the continuous influx of users,” a team spokesperson said.
Accelerating DeFi’s mainstream adoption means providing users with the highest possible assurance that asset prices in DeFi markets and products are secure, transparent, and tamper-proof. By creating an industry standard for reliable decentralized price data, Chainlink’s blockchain agnostic, future-proof oracle infrastructure helps secure hundreds of top DeFi projects on multiple blockchains and layer-2s in an increasingly multichain world.
“We are excited by the richness of Chainlink’s data sources, which integrate with such blockchain systems as Ethereum, BNB, HECO, Solana, Tezos, OKExChain, Polkadot, Flow, ThunderCore, Cosmos, and BSN,” the spokesperson said.
“After integration, Chainlink will be the major on-chain and off-chain bridge for AEX DeFi product lines, among which Chainlink Price Feeds provide reliable data service.”
AEX’s team told Chainlink Today that Chainlink oracles are foundational to future innovation in the DeFi space, which is particularly exciting for the nearly decade-old exchange dedicated to self-developing and designing innovative finance products.
“Users can refer to AEX trading data because it integrates from Chainlink.”
